Thanks for the response.
It was expected not to work with the PI4, due to the higher PWR needed. I did notice that when I connect the RPI 4 to the usb side of the BWS-PS, I don't get the lightening bolt. This could be the gauge of wire I'm using. Standered jumper wire for bread boards.

I also run the screen on a separate source. I didn't need that to be on, unless the key is on.
I will use what I have for now, connect up a toggle switch.
Maybe try the flash the 2nd link refers to. Not that good with this kind of thing, still learning, or wait for a installed fix. It took me 7 hrs to figure out how to run the 3 files I downloaded for the BWS-PS. Turns out I had to put them in a different folder to run.
I will now be putting this in a 2008 Mazda 3 instead of the Jeep pickup. I will plan to use a RPI3 and make another for that. This may be a while as it is not on the road as of now.
