what a head ache, i purchased this product over 16 hours ago. i have replied 3 times to get my key by email, i have checked bulk/spam folder, and now im a member on the forums begging for my key. please someone respond.

hello, i purchased open auto pro, i downloed the image, im at the key input screen, i emailed back "i accept rules" i do not know what to do now, its been hours, i have a 3 hour road trip ahead of me, today, maybe tomorrow, id like the key please, thank you!

Try to reflash your sd-card or/and redownload OAP 8.0 image

What version of Raspberry PI do you use? Did you modify anything in the system or this is a fresh install?

i reflash nowe OpenAUto PRo. Rasbperry RUN ,i see desktop but open auto dont run, i click on openauto on desktop - any result

Fake KMS is fixed: https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/issues/1285

Please check if you did not use legacy KMS driver. As far as we know there were no changes in FKMS driver regarding RCA output.

Looks like @stefi has found temp solution for RPI graphics driver issues: "i worked it out, simple really, just had to disconect the touch screen and it booted with pi 3 without problem then just disabled gl driver in raspi-config, re-attach touch screen and it worked "

And yes, I'm running the project on pretty new car. I think even last year model of Audi A3 without official Android Auto support, so CAN communication possibilites are pretty wide for the project

I think plenty od people here waiting for CAN dashboard feature you already promised and introduced as Work In Progress

For sure full CAN support would be useful, however could also caused some unexpected or dangerous behavior if not used appropriately. We will discuss it internal and let you now.

the truck i am putting OA in is a 91 jeep comanche. sorry i am now familiar with how the 2 will inter-grade. it will not matter to me for this feature. maybe if i were to do this project with another car that was newer.
