Hi Everyone,
Hoping other CarPiHat owners might know how to fix an issue I'm facing.
I have a USB hub that I have connected to a 12V to 5V converter. All works fine until I turn the key off, since the converter is currently hooked to the ignition, they shut off instantly before the PI has a chance to shut down. In doing so, it causes the PI to lock up.
I was hoping I could fix it by utilizing the 12v output on the CarPiHat to turn a relay on/off.
I asked Gecko about it, and he suggested to try and use a dtoverlay to set BCM22 to high.
So I did some researching and found what I thought would work
According to this page
https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt...p?t=175161
I should be able to use something like this
dtoverlay=gpio-poweroff,gpiopin=22,active_low
So I added this to the end of my boot/config.txt file, but it doesn't seem to work.
My relay doesn't seem to trigger, and I noticed when I remove power the PI locks up during shutdown.
Remove this, and it goes back to working fine.
Anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish what I need?
