Hi,
I've tried putting my phone as close a possible or far don't it doesn't change anything. Sound drop every 30 sec and I have crackles on audio all the time. Buffer underruns?
Pulseaudio sit at 8-10% CPU usage.
1. Provide detailed description of your setup:
System requirements:
a. What is the version of your RPI? -> 4B
b. Power supply details -> Official USB-C (bench testing)
c. Model of external sound card -> C-Media CM6533 [0d8c:0024 C-Media Electronics, Inc.]
d. Do you have microphone input? -> Yes
e. Details of your Bluetooth dongle. ->CSR 8510 [0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)]
f. Touchscreen model -> Kiosk touchscreen (bench testing) on hdmi and usb
2. Android Auto:
a. Which version of Android Auto you have installed, at your phone? -> v5.4.502264
b. Model of your phone. -> Samsung S8 Active
3. Steps to reproduce your issue:
-Connect the phone with bluetooth
-Stream A2DP (SBC or aptX doesn't matter)
-Listen to crackles and drop outs
-No errors on the dongle info while streaming
Hint: I've heard this could be an issue with the PulseAudio settings but I don't want to change them unless directed so by the OpenAuto Pro staff.
Thanks!
Laurent
