Single Software Button Shutdown

As of now in order to shut down using software button presses one needs to(from the Non-AA screen) one needs to press three different software buttons. Is it possible to modify in order to turn those three into a single press of the initial power button icon using some sort of sort scheduling? Similar to the single 'Exit' button from AA to the OpenAutodash. I would love to be able to tap that small power button on the bottom center and have it just shut down.

The idea was to keep the RPi always running during the drive. How would you turn it on later if you e.g. turn in off by mistake?
Could you give us some use cases for your idea?

I have a physical switch for power in my 4x4. Power is cut upon 'ignition off' by design, but I have a secondary power switch as well so I can cycle it of needed.
