Same with me.... I just started setting it up a few minutes ago. I can select the zip, which just takes me right back to the setup screen but selecting the serial number button does absolutely nothing.

Thank you for reporting. We will check that.
Meantime, please download the plugin again and make sure that you are pointing to the right file.

I can't speak for the original poster, but I downloaded the file again and I'm getting the same behavior. I can open up the zip file on the Pi and see the files in it, so I know the file is fine... Theis is something going on with OpenAuto.

Is there some bug related to a date or something? I don't know why we would suddenly have a problem and previous users did not when the plugin was first released.

We double checked plugin and image and all work fine. There was no more reports about any issues.
You can try with re-flashing the OAP. Remember to make a copy of all plugins.

I doubt many are suddenly installing and setting up the FM plugin.  And this is the only plugin I've tried to setup.  Is there a problem with the update script from 15 to 16?  Did you test that?

I used the update script because I didn't want to reflash my SD and lose all the work I put into this thing.  I would still rather not lose all the work I put into this thing and possibly spend days configuring and testing everything all over again.  Everything is working fine except for this one plugin.  If possible, I would rather diagnose whatever the issue is or somehow setup the plugin and serial number manually if the UI is having issues with the plugin setup for some reason.

Could you please try to download plugin file on your computer (using URL provided in delivery e-mail) and copy it to the Raspberry PI via any external storage device? Does it work then?

I copied the link from the email and downloaded the plugin file directly on the Pi itself in case there was an issue with the way I was copying files to it. No difference... I've redownloaded this file a few times now. Like I said I can open the zip and see the files. I can't extract the file on the Pi because I don't have the password to the zip. So the file is intact.

Is there a log or something I could look at?

Would installing other zip/archive tools on the Pi effect you in any way? I may have installed another archive tool at some point and I don't know if that would effect how you're opening the plugin file after I select it in the setup process.

But what if you download the plugin on your computer and copy it to the Pi?

That's... what... I.... was... doing.... before.... Again, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the zip. If you gave me the zip password, I could extract all the files on the Pi.
