I inadvertently touched a GPIO pin with 12V as I was tinkering with my OAP build, doing my bench testing to make sure everything works before installing in my truck. Fried the rpi4. Apparently, there aren't any rpi4s available anywhere in the US at regular retail prices. In fact, I'm not finding them at any of the authorized retailers anywhere in the world. I could lay out up to $350 on eBay for a boxed unit from questionable sources, but I think I'll just wait. I still have my 3B I can work with to get the hardware issues sorted.
Meanwhile, has there been any effort put toward porting for some of the other available SBCs? I can't seem to find any information as to when the rpi4s may again become available.
Or, maybe somebody on the forum has a 4B laying around they might be willing to part with at a reasonable price.
