We updated OpenAuto Pro to read setting of the mixer name. Please re-download the 5.0 image or update package (download link is the same for your Order ID) and set Audio.MixerName parameter to the one that appears in your system.
after mixer name added no succes ... also tryed sndrpihifiberry now i'm doing Master from the Asound file.
Name should be visible after execution of amixer or alsamixer command. Most probably it will be something like "Digital" (case sensitive). Also please revert all changes that you did previously to make volume control working.
Just post output of amixer command if you need assistance.

Then edit /home/pi/.asoundrc to match
Also edit openauto_system.ini and add Mixername : Find it with alsamixer?
pcm.!default {
type plug
slave.pcm "hw:0"
}
ctl.!default {
type hw
card 0
}
and to be sure no editing /etc/aound.conf?
Suppose to only modify /boot/config.txt for adding "dtoverlay=hifiberry-dac" Am I right?
Editing of /etc/asound.conf should not be needed. Anyway, you can still put all the stuff in .asoundrc rather than /etc/asound.conf. It will have same effect.
