Everything depends on the Video converter you have. The best way would be to have Video converter that supports remote control. Connection of the PIN16 to the video converter is used just for triggering change of the Video Source (usually it is done either by NAME or NAVI button of the MMI Panel). However, if you have possibility to control your Video Converter via remote control then it is not needed to connect PIN16 to it.
thanks bluewave, that answers my question well. I was in doubt if it was possible to split the signal one more time. I would not like another remote control .. are already enough buttons in the car
