Hi all,
So, I've just installed OAP into my A6 4f (MMI 2G HI); everything is working fine except the mmi controller.
It does work from time to time but it's sporadic at best. I have a max3232 connected to the pi on ttyAMA0 which is connected to pin 16 mmiHU. Tx is connected to the lvds adaptor. Again, it does kinda work so I know the tx/rx are the correct way round but if I open the serial port in minicom or do
cat /dev/TtyAMA0
I can see characters coming through but there doesn't seem to be any consistency.
I have also tried this with two separate USB-serial adaptors (after changing the device descriptor of course) but the result is the same, works 30% of the time.
Am I missing something? I have tried a variety of different baud rates / parity / stop bits and nothing seems to be stable.
I've triple checked the wiring and am certain everything is connected correctly.
Please help!
Regards
