Heyo, just wanted to start by saying this project is awesome and I've plunged into my own version of the project because of this thread. I had a few questions about your setup that I wasn't able to glean from previous posts, figured asking here might be a good starting point.
I noticed your TTL logic converter is fully connected to the RPi from the female side, but what supplies the male DB9 input/blue and purple wires? I know you mentioned that the navigation signal from the 16th pin is supplied to your video adapter, curious if those two wires are coming from that video adapter or from elsewhere.
What did you use for an audio adapter to output sound to the CD player? I'm tempted to go with another USB to FM transmitter but I'd rather have direct connection on the CD player as a source since I always seem to find an occupied frequency with my luck.
