So I was able to get my PI4 to boot from a Thumb-drive I had lying around.
It's a generic thumb drive, so wasn't expecting the best performance. But it does seem to speed up the opening of apps like Chrome some.
So now I would like to get a better quality thumb-drive and see if I can improve this a little more. But I'm also wondering if I'm going through the trouble, would an SSD be better? I mean I know it should be, but how much better?
Does anyone have any recommendations on a more budget SSD that is reliable and improves how things just work in OAP?
Or since you can get thumb-drives like this for $20 is it better to just go that route for OAP?
