First, great job with the update. I love the new AA wireless. I upgraded from OAP 6.1 yesterday.
I do seem to be having 1 minor glitch though...
When receiving a phone call in Android Auto (via USB connection OR the new wireless way), I am unable to accept the incoming calls. This is NOT the issue where the incoming call notification doesn't show up. My call notification works fine, and I get the box pop up to accept of decline the calls, but when I press accept, nothing happens. The phone just keeps ringing. The notification box doesn't go away. I have to disconnect from AA and accept the call in OAP.
Also, when I press the ACCEPT button while in AA, my screen briefly switches from night mode (my default in AA) to day mode, and then back to night mode.
I have already tried the following:
- Clear AA Cache
- Uninstall AA and re-install
- Restart OAP (both soft and hard restart)
- Restart Phone
I am running OAP on a Raspberry Pi 4 (4GB Ram and 32GB Micro SD Card)
I do meet all system requirements and everything was working perfectly on OAP 6.1 before I did the update.
When updating, I flashed OAP 7.0 to a NEW Micro SD card so I'd have the option to quickly switch back to OAP 6.1 (which I'd rather not do).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
If answering the call does not work only in Android Auto then issue is somewhere at phone side. What option did you select in Settings -> Android Auto -> Bluetooth? (Should be local if you are using BT dongle connected to the Raspberry PI). Please also try to unpair phone and the PI, pair them again and see if problem is still reproducible.
To me, it seems like it would be a software issue on the Pi side. It's almost like the screen freezes up when i try to press Accept, and then it doesn't recover unless i disconnect from AA and reconnect.
I will try the pairing process again and let you know what happens. Thanks!
