- I know how SSH works. I want to create a hotspot so I can connect my phone to it to SSH over it. However, the hotspot functionality doesn't seem to work.
- My issue with the GPIO trigger for the rearcam is that it's inverted relative to what I want: OpenAuto expects the pin to be *high* when in reverse, but my circuit pulls it *low* when in reverse. I already have this circuit permanent on PCB, so I don't want to change my circuit. I think it should be possible to invert this in software, but I can't find the option for this in OpenAuto.
I found the following post in which you say you can use this command to invert the behaviour:
echo 1 > /sys/class/gpio/gpio18/active_low
You also that this command has to to be executed after each start of OpenAuto Pro.
Where do you suggest I put this, to accomplish that?
Thanks in advance.
I haven't followed the whole thread but in order to accomplish just what you want here, you can try to add the command inside the wrapper script that launches openauto on default, I think it's this one:
pi@raspberrypi:/etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE-pi $ cat autostart
@lxpanel --profile LXDE-pi
@pcmanfm --desktop --profile LXDE-pi
@xscreensaver -no-splash
point-rpi
xset s off
xset s noblank
xset -dpms
@/usr/bin/onboard
/usr/local/bin/openauto
/usr/local/bin/controller_service_watchdog.sh
or inside "/usr/local/bin/openauto" (still a script). Your call.
