Dashcam & reverse camera - Wesley_125 - 07-10-2019
Hey I don't know if it would be difficult or possible, to maybe have the option to have an app/program that can have 2 USB camera inputs for dual recording front and back. So it would work like a dashcam? And than also when putting the car in reverse to automatically switch to video of the rearview camera?

A few threads on how to get reversing camera working (@hisma in the project tab)
The front facing dash cam sounds good, would need a different drive to record to as SD probably not ideal..

Oh okay! I will check that. I'm not so handy with raspberry that's my main problem. And yeah a small hard drive or something doesn't need to hold memory voor 2months.

I am sure lots of people know this but I find this really useful. Using Google with the keyword and pointing it to a specific site usually does a very good job of returning the information I’m looking for. The Reverse camera feature seems to have been added to the new beta release. Uses (atm) a gpio pin being pulled high as a signal to show the camera feed:
