We are happy to announce that version 16 of OpenAuto Pro has been released.

Can you summarize this 'FM Radio' Plugin?
This function is not available unless you pay $6?
What is the benefit/need of paying the extra fee - I'm not sure I understand.

nice... what minor stability improvement done? any detail change log?
p/s: I just screw up my raspbian and I lost all my hifiberry hardware setup and no soundcards detected. time to fresh install Pro16 and recall back all the linux command lines.

Starting from version 16, RTL-SDR plugin for FM radio is supported. It means that it will not work on lowest versions. Functionality of the plugin is described in the shop.
We are collecting feedback and bug reports from the Users and trying to fix them from one version to another. Minor means that it is nothing critical for the system functionality. They are related to internal OpenAuto core functionality.

I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but sounds like no RDS?
Yes please add this to the list of features to add to the FM radio.
It's possible to get I'm currently using it on the software that someone on this forum created.
The reason I want to change to an OAP support version is more integration into the software.

There are 3 types of text. Station ID, Song title, and then another one that shows whatever other text the station wants to display.
You can see it in the video.
It will be awesome if that can be added to the official app.

Just installed it, I love that steering wheel controls allow you to change the station presets. This is a nice feature that my original FM solution didn't have, so nice to have that.
If we can get RDS that would really make this perfect.

successfully updated to Pro16. just wonder, the wallpaper shown above is included in the update package? I like the them so much. is there a way I can just copy?

I feel the UI is snappier in Pro16. I'm so happy I spent the last 9 months playing with Pi, Raspbian, Canbus, Python, Hifiberry, Lin bus, Arduino, systemctl, gpsd, ublox GPS,.. .. I'm so looking forward into API and OBD dashboard, radio setup and transferring other canbus base car setting into OPA environment.
