I just sent another follow up email. Order details are included.. RE: OpenAuto Pro version 12 is available - Daniel_BlueWave - 11-29-2020 Here are details about update process: https://bluewavestudio.io/community/showthread.php?tid=848 RE: OpenAuto Pro version 12 is available - TwixtedChaox - 12-05-2020 I emailed about the update. Additionally, I emailed about an easier update process. Please let me assist with this. (Client area would be best I think) RE: OpenAuto Pro version 12 is available - Chrisfromwa - 12-05-2020 Yes, a client area would be great. Or even if OAP could check itself and see if there is an update and prompt the user that there is an one available. If the user selects 'update' it updates itself. I can easily provide both of these functions if Bluewave wishes. It is their choice. In fact adding both options seems ideal. I can easily implement these features. It clearly states it could take as long as 12 hours to receive the download link. I seen it in my email at 1:58 AM. That is about 10 hours. I think that is acceptable. I did just like the instructions indicated. Download zip. Unzip Image file. Copied to SD card. It booted right up. Everything seems to work so far. Nice job Bluewave Studio. RE: OpenAuto Pro version 12 is available - Mella - 12-12-2020 Great ! Support for rotary encoders, for the time I have been waiting for this! I spent a lot of time trying to get them to work with an Arduino, topic here: Volume control with rotary encoder Hope the KY-040 encoder is well supported Thanks to Viper, Daniel_BlueWave, frankpintosr for their help and to ktb for his schematic and script Question: Is support for its controllers planned in a future update? Smart Steering Wheel Controller T-301 Topic here: Guide for steering wheel remote control Thank you for this great product that is Openauto with top-notch support RE: OpenAuto Pro version 12 is available - Daniel_BlueWave - 12-13-2020 Thank you @Mella for the feedback. As you can see in provided link to T-301 controller, any kind of device can be used with OpenAuto Pro. It is matter of mapping appropriate functionalities in your script. Easiest way is to use predefined settings. Have a look here: https://bluewavestudio.io/community/showthread.php?tid=2208&pid=12578#pid12578 |
