Just wondering if the new 3.0 version has the BWS script already added and if not maybe add it to future updates and just # it out if not using your BWS.
thx.

Hello,

i have a problem with the second installation of the script for the bws-ps.
In my first test the installation with sudo bash bws-ps-install.sh worked great. After I rebuilt the system with a HifiBerry card, I always get the error message that the service bws-ps.service could not be found. can someone help me?
The image is 3.0 and the script is the same as for the test setup. Only the soundcard is no longer a USB, but a HifiBerry DAC+ RTC. (and of course everything newly wired / prototype board)

Greetings Joachim Junker

Could you please post the logs (console output) from installation of the bws car ps script?

The installation files are unpacked in the folder home/pi/Downloads/bws-ps-installer. Input:
sudo bash bws-ps-install.sh
Answer:
Installing bws-shutdown script
installing bws-ps service
Starting bws-ps service
Faild to start bws-ps.service: Unit bws-ps.service not found.
Then Prompt.

...If a log file is written by the script installation, where can I find it? Then I post it too.

We will double check the script and go back to you.

Edit: Looks like there was some security update for Raspbain OS. Scripts have been updated. Please re-download the package.

We have also updated installation description:

If I understand code corretly pin 5(GPIO3) is not mandatory as long as below python lines changed accordingly. Or ignition requires i2c-bus only?

GPIO.setup(3, GPIO.IN, pull_up_down=GPIO.PUD_UP)
GPIO.add_event_detect(3, GPIO.RISING, callback=onEventDetected)
