Just curious, how would someone figure out if their monitor supports dimming from the Pi? I really need to dim the screen not only on OA but on other applications. Any help or suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

It is matter of the screen you are using. Try to check in manual or product description.

Will hopefully get back to it soon. https://youtu.be/MHQGyNt7Mh4 GFunkbus76 - Working on dual screen setup to run 1976 bus AV and dash... eventually. - Work in long-term progress lol YouTube Channel for some related videos

I have just attempted an installation from: http://www.cqrobot.wiki/index.php/TSL2591X_Light_Sensor But when I try to execute this part: sudo apt-get install p7zip-full 7z x TSL2591X_Light_Sensor_code.7z -r -o./TSL2591X_Light_Sensor_code sudo chmod 777 -R TSL2591X_Light_Sensor_code And I select Y in the terminal to continue with the installation, it is aborted with no explanation. Does anyone know what I am doing incorrectly?

I would like to install the light sensor in my case, but I don't know how to do it exactly.
Can I maybe explain or give instructions on how I can do that. How I create the script is clear to me, but in which folder are they supposed to go. Can I just put all four in the "pi/home" folder or how does that work? Sorry, I'm a newbie when it comes to this! sorry

Just have a look at this thread since first post and another ones at this forum. I know, that it's a lot of reading but finally you will learn a lot.
