is there an updated procedure to configure Android Auto to connect to OAP?

Hi,

I have been searching on the forums about how to configure Android Auto in OAP, and 
how to connect to an Android Phone.. especially the newer versions that do 
not have Android Auto as a App.. but it is rather embedded in the Operating System
For example, Android version 12  on a Samsung S10+  does not have the app
but it is integrated into the OS.. 

I have only found older threads from 2020... and it is not even a procedure
written by the BlueWave staff... but rather a forum member.. and it is outdated in my opinion
