I know you can customize the Pi boot screen, so what files do I need to change to get the default boot screen back. On a fresh install of OAP, the Pi splash screen seems to be bypassed.

Usually people do it in opposite direction. It is handled as in regular Raspberry Pi OS. You can check this: https://linuxhint.com/replace-splash-scr...pberry-pi/
