I have an Asus ZenFone 4, which has been working with Android Auto on Open Auto Pro for a few years.
I got given a new phone for Christmas, a shiny new Xperia 10 IV.
I cannot get Android Auto to work with this phone. However it still works with the ZenFone, and my girlfriend's Pixel 6.
The error on OAP is "Android Auto is not currently available" and on the Xperia phone it will not find a connection over USB. When trying on Bluetooth I got an IP address error, I solved that, and then I got sound from the phone through my stereo, but no Android Auto on screen, just the same error message. Almost like mirroring, but nothing on the screen to suggest it was actually working.
Can anyone help me with this?
