    I'm using RCA and struggling with correct alignment.
    Used many file from this forum, here are two of them:

    - first one:
    overscan_left=-15
    overscan_right=-40
    overscan_top=-55
    overscan_bottom=-40
    framebuffer_width=800
    framebuffer_height=480
    sdtv_aspect=3

    overscan_scale=1

    - below, my config (aspect 15:9 as it's same as 800/480):
    overscan_bottom=-40
    framebuffer_width=800
    framebuffer_height=480
    sdtv_aspect=6

    overscan_scale=1

    As far as we know Composite output has some problems with overscan settings. Overscan is part of the Raspberry PI OS firmware. You can try to post your problem at https://forums.raspberrypi.com/.

    Try to toggle PAL/NTSC settings on your converter.

    Now, with HDMI converter, you must find correct overscan settings for your screen.
