    Hello, I have problems establishing a bluetooth obd connection with OAP.

    Manually connect and pair works, the adapter also flashes short blue when the OAP dashboard is started, but that's it.

    Bluetooth Dongle TP-Link UB400 (CSR8510 A10 chipset).

    OAP logfile with errors attached.

    Did you pair your adapter with Rpi? What OBD adapter are you using?

    Did you follow configuration from here: https://bluewavestudio.io/community/thread-1865.html ?

    Yes, paired it with Rpi.

    Pair and connect with bluetoothctl works.

    yes:

    ObdProbePeriod=5

    ObdDeviceType=2

    ObdAdapterRfCommAddress=XXXX

    ObdAdapterRfCommChannel=1  (I tested channel 1 and 2 because sdptool records shows channel 2 for my ELM327.)

    ObdMaxNoDataResponseCount=20

    It is an elm327 aliexpress adapter, but works with Windows and Android(AT commands also work).

    Looks like your ELM327 is not genuine one. It probably does not support some commands from startup sequence https://www.bluewavestudio.io/community/...1#pid11931.

    I tested the at commands manually in windows.
    See the screenshot.
    Are the results correct?

    The cheap ELM adapter was to blame.
    With a Vgate iCar Pro it works immediately.. Smile
