1. Provide detailed description of your setup:
System requirements:
a. What is the version of your RPI?
RPI 4B 4GB
b. Power supply details
12V 3A PSU, 15W Buck converter
c. Model of external sound card
Focusrite Scarlett 4i4
d. Do you have microphone input?
yes through Focusrite soundcard above
e. Details of your Bluetooth dongle.
Panda BT 4.0 dongle
f. Touchscreen model
5" DSI display, Waveshare, 800x480 capacitive touch, DSI connected
2. Android Auto:
7.8.622514-release
b. Model of your phone.
Samsung Galaxy S9
4. Steps to reproduce your issue
- The phone connects wirelessly and Android Auto can be used
- Maps and Spotify are usable but report being offline
- I tried to enable / disable
-- "use mobile data when internet connection is unstable" which is part of the Wifi settings and
-- "keep mobile data active when Wifi is activated" which is part of the developer options
- OOPs Wifi option is configured to use the Hotspot / 5GHZ
I checked the phone connection using the phones browser and this was also offline (except for a few rare occasions)
The USB connection option works normally.
Any ideas what to try?
