Will there be any updates to the FM app coming soon?
I think it's great that we have FM now, and I use it a lot.

But to make it better,  it really needs the radio text fields (RDS).  Call station ID,  current song playing, and whatever else the station is sending out.
I'm hoping this can be added to the app and make it just like a OEM factory stereo.

The original app that was developed by someone on this forum had RDS (but missing everything else, like keyboard button mapping).  Would be great if you could look into this some more and add the RDS feature to the BlueWave app.

From some quick research radio text should be possible but idk how hard it would be to implement.

Last I heard, Bluewave said they would wait and see if the radio add-on gets traction before looking into adding features like RDS and DAB. So it's a business issue more than a technical one.

I totally second Chris and want the missing features to get full functionality!
