Hello,
I've recently bought OpenAuto Pro license and successfully managed to install it on a Raspberry Pi 3.
I'm planning to use it on my Toyota Touch 2 screen on a Rav4 xa40 2018 car.
I've bought a cable to obtain an auxiliary AV Video In and I'm considering to use the Pi3 on AV out to see it on OEM radio.
What I'm missing is how to "grab" the touchscreen input. I know there are some aftermarket solutions that are able to use that input via some harness cables, I've searched on Internet and I've found on:
https://pinoutguide.com/Car-Stereo-Toyot...nout.shtml
A description of pinout wiring but it's not enough clear to me.
Looking at an aftermarket solution I've found:
http://1onetake.com/default/img/webbase/...00info.jpg
that explain that the touchscreen input is obtained via UART Touch Control In Out but, again, it's still not enough clear to me.
The alternative could be to mount a new digitizer over the OEM digitizier (I don't know if that could cause some side effects) or use a rotary encoder... but those are B plan solutions.
Do you have some tips for me?
Thanks in advance,
imopen
