Hello,
The dongle that I am trying to use is Carlinkit CPC-200 (wireless version, firmware: 2021.12.22.1647CAY) I have recently put together the following setup:
a. What is the version of your RPI: RPi 4b
b. Power supply details: 45W USB-C european plug
c. Model of external sound card: U-Green (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32507625...1802zjirMQ)
d. Do you have microphone input: No (the microphone came in broken, didn't have time to find a working one yet)
e. Details of your Bluetooth dongle: ASUS (chip: BCM20702A0 by Broadcom)
f. Touchscreen model: Wisecoco 5.5" (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10050026...1802DQkH7M)
I guess it is the same as the Waveshare 5.5" AMOLED, only different branding (https://www.waveshare.com/5.5inch-hdmi-amoled.htm)
(EDIT: these screens are NOT the same. Mine is LCD, while the other one is AMOLED. But other than this they look indistinguishable to me.)
The setup works (so far on the kitchen table) but there are 2 issues that I would like to solve before installing it in the car:
1. Problem with zooming / pinching - this issue already has its own thread:
2. Connection stability:
Are these common issues? Is there a way to solve issue nr 1 or 2, or both?
I have contacted "Carlinkit Official Store" on Aliexpress (my seller of the dongle) and got the following (apparently standard) answer:
1. Make sure to use MFI certified data cable.
2. Select "Weak" in the Charging mode ( under Autokit Advanced setting ).
3. Autokit - Settings - Working Mode - Compatible.
4. Please update the Autokit and box version to the latest version.
Ad 1: obviously not this case as we are talking about wireless connection here.
Ad 2 and 3: how do I do this? Or maybe this can be done with an Andoid phone only? If yes, I have an android phone too and could give it a try - if these settings become stored in Carlinkit itself rather than the Android app.
Any clues?

1. Problem with zooming / pinching - this issue already has its own thread:
https://bluewavestudio.io/community/thread-3344.html
2. Connection stability:
- The dongle easily looses connection to my phone (iPhone 8 running iOS 14.8.1) - the wifi network that it creates seems to be very weak as it is enough to move the phone about 1m away from the dongle to experience problems with connection stability. Carplay crashes often, sometimes the dongle refuses to connect to my iPhone.
- Most of the time music quality is good but sometimes I can hear static noise (crackling) for a few seconds. This usually goes away quickly. My guess is that this issue is just another manifestation of a weak connection - hence I mention it here.
