Viewing OpenAutoPro/Android Auto on a phone screen - possible?

Is it possible to do the opposite of the standard screen mirroring? 

i.e. I want to view what is happening on OpenAutoPro/Android Auto on my phone screen? This is mainly for waze - it would be awesome to be able to see the map on my phone which is stuck to the windscreen...

It is not possible to see OAP on the phone screen.
