I hope this is not a stupid question ....
I just recently got my OAP installion running, and it's great  Smile

Now i was thinking about further enhance it, by adding/using obd2, but before just buying anything, i wanted to know, how i actually would go connecting it.
In general, i don't like to use more cables than needed. But then, do i need to use a second bt usb dongle in the rpi, to be able to be connected to my phone and to the odb2 adapter at the same time?

    Cheers,
    Dominik

You can connect to Bluetooth OBD2 adapter and your phone using just one Bluetooth dongle. There is enough throughput in Bluetooth 4.0 to handle that.
