Hi Bluewave Studio
I uploaded the boot video here: https://youtu.be/GCKsUhiemuQ the logo is stretch horizontally.
You can use ffmpeg to adjust resolution of the splash screen video to resolution of your display. Below command will add borders to the original splash screen video and fix aspect ratio. An example is done for the 1920x720 scren resolution and 800x480 video resolution. For other resolutions you need to calculate x and y coordinates of the original video, e. g.
destination resolution = 1920x720 source resolution = 800x480 x = (1920 - 800) / 2 = 560 y = (720 - 480) / 2 = 120 destination resolution = 1280x480 source resolution = 800x480 x = (1280 - 800) / 2 = 240 y = (480 - 480) / 2 = 0

Last video file on the list of splash videos in openauto_splash service will be looped until OpenAuto Pro app starts. In this case it will be splash2 file.

I made a script to automate conversion of all *.h264 OAP splash screens at once:
I am also attaching the file to this post (rename to convert_splashscreens_to_widescreen.sh, the forum won't allow me to upload bash files).

Hi,
You splash screen is beautiful! To setup a new Splash Screen do we need to buy the kit or can we make our own splash screen? Regards,
