NuBee here. I have AA working with OAP. The strange thing is if I shutdown OA (either reboot or exit-restart) it will not connect to my phone. If I try to pair with my phone it says trying to pair, and I see a pop up that says something like attempt to pair from openauto. But the dialog dissapears faster than I can click it, the opens again. This happens for ever or until I terminate OAP. Rebooting the phones does not help.
If I then go the Raspbian BT and look it will say not paired. If I try to pair from there to the phone it errors saying no services available. The only way I can get it back working is to delete the bluetooth device from raspbian, and repair from the phone. Then AA opens automatically and is is fine.
If I go to the phone, it does not show OAP as a previous connection. So I have to pair it again. It looks like the phone forgets the pairing when the connection is lost, but the pie does not. So the pi must be told top forget so it can pair again.
I have not installed this in my car yet but I cant imagine going through this every time I drive the car.
I have an RPI4, 4Gig.
64gig sd card.
Audio dongle
Microphone dongle
Asus BT dongle
And a 7 port usb hub.
Phone = Pixel 4a.
Anyone see this before? Anyy idea why it behaves this way?
Thanks.
