Hi Guys,
Hope you guys are doing well in these troubled times.
I have been having issues with HFP functionality for some time now. A couple of days back, i reflashed my sd card to OAP7.
I have an external USB soundcard and an external CSR 4 USB dongle (FEDUS make) . I am able to pair my mobile's blue tooth to the OAP / Raspberry Pi ( which identifies itself as Open Auto Pro) and i am able to place calls via voice commands. However, I am not able to hear the caller response via the external speakers connected to the sound card. I can only talk via the mobile.
Is it a problem with the sound card? I am able to hear the reponses to the "ok Google" commands via the external speakers.
Or is it a problem with the Blue tooth Dongle?
Is there any setting that i need to make on the RPI?
I have been trying to make the unit functional ever since Version4 ; havent been successful ; partly due to the intermittent efforts and my competency limitations
As this is my primary requirement, i will check out other wireless options after this.
I am really happy to see the effort put by the developers to resolve issues and add features and really appreciate their perseverence and customer focus.
Request someone to help clarify.
Thanks and regards
