    Hello,

I am running OAP 6.1 with a Hifiberry DAC+ Pro.
I configured raspbian according to Hifiberry's instructions in this page, Configuring Linux 4.X or higher.

I read a lot of threads in this forum.  I set the DAC to be the default sound card, from the Audio Device Settings inside raspbian.

I reboot and get back in OAP.  I play YouTube from Applications.  I get nice sound from YouTube.  However, I don't get sound from playing a mp3/flac file from a USB drive.

The volume slider works.  Setting Audio.MixerName= to Digital or Analogue did not make a difference.

I've tried different things in the /etc/asound.conf file.  It made no difference here either, so I deleted the file.

    Anthing else I can try?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello,
What is the output of pactl list sinks command?

Please also post a link to the instructions you have been using.

I had ths issue with a dac. Fixed waiting 5 min after startup, run a youtube video then close and start a2dp or android auto. Put a gpio button for screen on and off and never powered down my rpi

Add and set boot at startup in openauto app

    Thank you everyone.

I replaced a generic USB microphone with a rpi supported one, and I get sound from playing music from a USB drive as well from Android Auto.

This is my setup in case someone is interested.
