    Thank you.

    Unfortunately, it looks like you'll need to use Softvol in your ALSA config if you want to control volume using the slider in OAP. You might also want to create an asym PCM device (playback/output and capture/input ) in your ALSA config.

    Haarleh,
    You are not set up to receive a private message, so I am replying to your question here.
    Because I tried so many things to get the sound, I didn't pay attention as to when the volume slider started working.
    I exited out of OAP and played around in raspbian with the settings in:
    * Preferences, Audio Device Settings
    * Sound & Video, PulseAudio Volume Control
    Sorry I can't offer anything specific.

    Yeah, you asked for my help in a Private Message and I just wrote out a bunch of instructions for you only to receive the message:

    Please correct the following errors before continuing:

    Sorry to the both of you!
    I wasn't aware that you have to enable private messages from other users. I've been using the Mobile version and just activated Desktop version to see all the options I had to enable.

    alexn, that's no problem and thank you!  Smile

    ktb, I'm so sorry but is there chance you can either send it in PM now or here in the thread?

    Again, I'm so so sorry!
