How ever have two issues.
First off tried to OAP to connect to a bluetooth speaker / car no issues.
But cant get it to connect to high profile so audio is very distorted tried 3 adaperts inbuild and a qualcoam one and a CSR with the same results.
Tried messing with pulseaudio to no avail.
Then tried a pure install of the latest rpi image and all adpters work on first try by just connecting to the speakers/car with no manual config and audio is superb.
So seems to be an pulse audio issue since pure rpi image just uses alsa. (Any thoughts??)
Second one isent rly an issue or kinda/questiion...
With an pure rpi image the interface has a bigger dpi with is alot easier to navigate on the touchscreen(This would be nice )
But however even with all its bell and whistles the touchscreen interface feels like about 4 times as faster/responsive when you do/click/write a command, how is that?
Running it on an RPI3+
Got exectly the same problem... strangly using crankshaft ng no problems at all with bluetooth and external qualcomm adapter...
Getting the feeling this open source project is more kind of a waste of money...
Bluetooth functionality is handled by Raspbian OS, not by OpenAuto Pro. If something does not work it looks like it is not supported by Raspbian itself. If it works on stock Raspbian image but not with OpenAuto Pro image - it clearly states that you misconfigured something. So first of all we recommend to double check the configuration.
OpenAuto Pro is independent on hardware - it is user responsibility to check the compatibility of used hardware and configuration.
