Hi!
On my setup, I use a Pijuice to act as a kind of UPS and to allow the Pi to shutdown properly when the car's ignition is turned off (yes I know I could use BlueWave's product, but a had a PiJuice laying around before then).
As the PiJuice reports the current battery status and state of charge, I was wondering if, like the applications menu, we could get the ability to add icons and data to the top bar?
It could be useful in a lot of use cases I think, like if we want to display some CAN info, use custom logic to get the outside temp, etc. The customization could for instance allow a text value to be displayed from a script/program that would be launched at a set interval. An icon could even be associated with that data by specifying it in a configuration file.
Tell we what you think and if something like that could be implemented.
Thanks!
