Hello all,
I initially had problems back in March 2019 with my setup and put off working on it due to oversea travel. I did not get back to the US until recently. I followed many suggestions from contributors and BlueWave on this forum and was successful getting everything up and running - thank you for the help. I was very happy with everything including the HiFiBerry Amp2 card - sounds great.
I had OAP loaded and running as well as AA, phone connected USB. all worked well until today. Before turning off the ignition I quit AA on the PI 3B+ and dropped into OAP as expected. I then exited OAP which put me at the raspian level. The white menu bar was blank, no text (I know for a fact it was working before since I always use it to shutdown). I don't know what caused the problem or how to correct it other than a complete reinstall to SD card.
My equipment is: Raspberry pi 3B, official 7" lcd screen, HiFiBerry Amp 2, no external USB Bluetooth or wifi connected, USB connectio1n to Galaxy S6 phone. Everything works and has been working until today. After the initial work to get everything installed and running, I don't think I made changes to anything at all in Raspian. I only use it now for the shutdown menu item to safely shut down (I don't have the relay setup yet for auto shutdown). Two basic questions I need help with:
1) Any idea what could have caused this, could I have set some particular setting incorrectly?
2) How do I fix this or is an SD card re-image the only solution?
Thanks in advance for any assistance offered.
