So I have this USB hub

And using one of these to power it

I have the 12V of the power supply hooked to ACC and verified with my voltmeter that it shuts off.
With it hooked up to the power supply, and not hooked to the PI.
It turns on/off with the key.
BUT.
I noticed as soon as I hook the USB cable up to the PI, that the hub will stay on when the key is turned off.
I'm also using the 3 relay shutdown
and when the Hub is hooked up to the PI, I noticed that it no longer shuts down the PI when the key is turned to off.
So it gets even weirder, as a test I unhooked power from the hub but kept the USB to the PI connected. The lights on the HUB stayed on. As soon as I unhooked the USB cable from the PI. Lights go off, my relays click and the PI shut down. So for some reason, the PI is powering the hub too?
Any ideas what's going on? and how to make this hub work correctly?
I liked this one, because it had a fast charge option.
