@Bluwave Is this behavior something you’re aware of?
Thanks, Frank

We were not able to reproduce mentioned issue on any device. If it is possible please try to test it with latest version (3.3.2).

That is the version I am using.

I will have a play to see whether or not there are any other settings that affect the speed. Disabling access to the phones contacts definitely removes the issue. Does OpenAuto enumerate through the contacts? If so could it be a case of delay being proportionate to the number of contacts in my phone?

In response to Digitalmick (thanks for responding btw), I have tried both onboard BT and another external BT adapter with the same results. I purchased the Panda adapter in the end as it was the (recommended device) in the hope that it would resolve the connection issue and more importantly get the phone to work properly within Android Auto. It did resolve that issue, just the screen delay still persist when connecting.

Andy

Sorry, just realised I am on 3.3.1. Will give the latest a go.

Happy to say that the lag/freeze issue has disappeared in 3.3.2.

I had some issues with Pi3+ and the display issue, but after that all good.

Truly is a fantastic product, thanks.
