Feature request that would really be nice to have.
I just installed the Kodi Plugin Carbon, and it has a volume control buttons on every screen.
They kind of work, basically if I have the OA volume set to 100% I can reduce it in Kodi.
What would really be nice, is if the 2 volume controls were tied together (controlling the same source). Meaning, if I'm in Kodi and set the volume to 40% using the always visible buttons. It would also sets the OA volume to the same. Vice versa, if I'm in OA/AA and set the volume to 40% if I go to Kodi, it would still be at 40%
Not sure how these 2 volume controls work within the OS, but if there was a way to tie them together
I will be using Kodi a lot, but having to set the volume at 100% in OA can be dangerous to my audio system, if I decide to go to Android Auto and not remember to lower it OA first.
Could you please look into how Kodi controls the volume and see if there is a way to make them control the same source?
the more I look into this, it appears to be a Kodi thing
If anyone knows how to make the Kodi volume control the OA/OS volume please reply and tell us how you did it.
