I've run into a problem with my Raspberry Pi car PC project, specifically with regards to the USB soundcard required to run Android Auto. Whenever the soundcard (a cheap eBay unit with separate audio out and mic-in sockets) boots, a large amount of crackling and white noise is outputted through the amplifier I'm using (an Adafruit MAX9744). The noise seems to worsen when any input is made on the touchscreen too.
Is it possible to address or correct this problem?
Thanks in advance.
(Just in case a list of parts is needed, I'm using the following stuff - )
- Raspberry Pi 3b+
- Raspberry Pi 7" touchscreen
- a cheap USB sound card (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/USB-2-0-to-3...EBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 )
- a Pixel 2
- Anker cables
