The OpenAuto Pro is an application running on In the OAP there is external application launcher, which allows user to add shortcut to his application and start it directly from OAP (you do not have to exit OAP and start your app). This launcher has configuration in mentioned INI file, where you have to put path to your application and to the icon visible in the launcher. We do not check if your programs runs in the Raspberry PI OS, as this is not our part. It has to be done by yourself. You, as an user, have to be sure that application you would like to run, has all needed files or/and packages installed. In other words, you have to be able to run your app in Raspberry PI OS environment, and then you can add this app to the OAP launcher.

What I was hoping I could do is to add my OBDII app (Torque Pro) that runs on my phone, so that it is able to be displayed and controlled from OAP. If I understand correctly it sounds like I will need to find an OBDII app that can be installed on Raspbian and then added as an external application, not an app on my phone that would run through Android Auto, correct? -Jesse
