Configuration:
Raspberry Pi 3b
16gb SD Card
HyperX External USB Sound Card
Hama Bluetooth v4.0 USB Adapter (V2 00053188)
Waveshare 7inch HDMI LCD (1024x600) - XPT2046 Touch Controller
2,5A Official Raspberry Powersupply for Pi
2A Xiaomi Powersupply for Screen
Tested Smartphones: Xiaomi Mi 9, Google Pixel 4a
Installed Android Auto Version: 6.8.613364-release
Problem:
Flashed Openauto Pro release 13.2 onto SD Card and added the following to the config.txt (as described on the waveshare website):
max_usb_current=1
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 1024 600 60 6 0 0 0
I then booted and went into Desktop view where I installed Waveshare Touchscreen Drivers:
git clone https://github.com/waveshare/LCD-show.git
cd LCD-show/
chmod +x LCD7-1024x600-show
./LCD7-1024x600-show
I rebooted the Pi and touch control works fine in the OpenAuto Pro UI. However it completely stops working once I plug my Smartphones via USB. Pi goes into AA Mode and Smartphone tells me to proceed configuration on the AA Screen (Pi) but I cant touch anything.
Touch works fine again once I unplug the phone.
I stopped auto mounting devices in Explorer propeties so I don't get the "No MTP-Device found" error messages anymore.
Can someone help me get touch control in AA working?
