Hi, I am currently having an issue with my GPS just being inaccurate and freezing. Has been happening to me for a few weeks, it makes navigation impossible.
Using a Raspberry Pi 4 4gb rev 1.1
Power supply is a dc-dc 5amp adjustable voltage Power supply (would require ripping the dash out) Have been using it for years with no lightning bolt and no issues, had to turn voltage up when I got a Pi 4 a while back.
Ugreen soundcard
Yes I have microphone input
Cheap Chinese Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle (had for around a year)
Official Pi 7" touchscreen
Android auto 6.6.612534 installed on phone
Samsung Galaxy S10+ running android 11
I have had this issue while on Openauto pro 13.1 and 13.2, I have tried fresh installs of both versions with no success. I do not believe it is a problem with Openauto Pro as 13.1 used to work perfectly, im just hoping someone on here has a solution that may help.
I have tried a fresh install of Android auto on my phone, cleared cache and data.
I found a thread from a while back that suggested disabling permission for location in Android auto and it helped some people, it did not make a difference for me.
Navigation works perfectly on my phone when it is not connected to android auto.
If anyone has any ideas I can try I would be very grateful.
Thanks,
Andy.
