Hi all,
I'm hoping to get some advice form people more clued-up than me!
I have a Sunfounder 1024x600 Touchscreen (USB & HDMI) and this runs perfectly with OAP13.2 when using an SD card. I have an M2 NVMe 256GB SSD in a JMicron USB 3 converter, which also works perfectly with OAP13.2, but ONLY with a DSI touchscreen.
I have tried the following:
RPi4, SSD, DSI Touchscreen, OAP 13.2 - Works OK
RPi4, SD Card, USB/HDMI Touchscreen, OAP 13.2 - Works OK
RPi4, SSD, USB/HDMI Touchscreen, OAP 13.2 - Does not boot and throws MSD timeout and other USB interface errors.
I've tested everything I can think of and the only configuration causing the problem is when using the SSD on USB 3 and the touchscreen on USB 2, they just don't seem to work together.
I have read the article about the bootloader issue, but I am already running the recommended bootloader version.
Can anyone please help? I only changed the screen as the DSI screen I was using was really poor quality due to being low resolution. The HDMI screen is the quality I would expect from an in-car system.
Many thanks,
Bret
***EDIT***
I forgot to mention, I initially thought this was a power issue so I tried a powered USB3 hub, but this has made no difference. I am also using a 12v 15A bench PSU so I meet the minimum requirements for power.
