Hi Everybody,
I bought a raspberry pi during lockdown last year and i have had no idea what to do with it......so i have decided to create a custom head unit for my suzuki swift using Openauto pro.
So far i have my pi, a touchscreen and an external usb bluetooth dongle.
I am looking to add a DAC board for audio, a usb gps receiver, a usb mic, these will be connected via powered usb hub. I am also looking to add DAB but not too sure how to go about this yet.
I am confused though about powering it straight through the car for startup and shutdown. From what i can tell a couple of relays and a buck converter might be my best option but i'm not too sure.
Anyway I'm looking for ideas on the best way to utilise this and also any other cool additions that i could add.
Thanks for reading guys.
Michael
