I'm using a 1920x1200 pixel display. If I launch CarPlay at this resolution, the bottom 120 pixels is garbled and unusable.

Carlinkit dongle does not support resolution greater than 1920x1080 (1080p). You can try to force screen resolution using video options of Raspberry PI (https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentatio...t/video.md)

It is confusing why this limitation is not affecting wide-screen with OAP 13.1

OpenAuto Pro interface is rendered using OpenGL engine (directly on host GPU). Android Auto, CarPlay and Mirroring are video streams encoded by external devices which has various requirements about screen resolution and aspect ratio.

The perception is that the limitation is in one axis but not the other. |
