Hello i wanted to retrofit the iDrive gen 1 controller in my car. But i am an absoloutely newbie in this theme with rapberrys etc..
So now i figured out the pin connections on the controller for vcc and and can bus. I connected the controller like this: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt...p?t=141052
And i wrote these lines from the bluewave forum (https://bluewavestudio.io/community/show...p?tid=2208) in this folder:
/home/pi/.openauto/config/openauto_controller_service.ini
Now when i want to start the service with controller_service /home/pi/.openauto/config/openauto_controller_service.ini the pi says me that he is unable to map the interface for idrive : can0
At this point i am stuck. Maybe because the idrive Controller got no ground fo the can bus? (i connected the ground of the Lab Bench power supply to the pi´s ground for the same potencial) it doesnt matter if j1 is bridged or not, it doesnt work either. I attached some pictures
I am thankful for every Help.
