Good day All
I am new to Android Auto Pro. I have been using Crankshaft for a while, (I'm sure most people know Crancshaft...) so I know how AO should work. I decided to buy AOP as it simply has so much more to offer. Unfortunately I am running into multiple issue straight away. I have many features that I would like to test/use but for a start I just want the basics to work.
I have plugged in my phone (which was working in Crankshaft) via USB to get the most basic AO to work but the screen just goes black. My phone says connected to your car so the connection is there but no UI on my RPI. Any idea why this would happen?
I have re-flashed the image in a hope to fix the issue but the same thing happens. I also used another phone (Galaxy S10) to test AO USB with the same results.
In addition to this, I also cant seem to get the BT to work. I did some research on how to pair and it seems you need to do it from Rasbian OS before the BT will work in AOP? It seems that the BT dongle is not being detected. Any advice here?
I would appreciate any guidance in the right direction.
Setup spec:
RPI 3B+
32GB SD card
7" RPI touch screen
5V 3A Wall power supply
Andowl Bluetooth dongle
A2DP 7.1 Ch sound card
Android Auto Pro 12.0
Phone
Samsung Galaxy Note 10+
Android version 10
Android Auto version 5.9.604634-release4
Thanks in advance.
Regards Ruan
